Shimmer Cell & Tactile Announcement
My debut album Tactile is coming out September 18, 2026.
Noir Labs grew directly out of this album. Every plugin began as something I built while making Tactile.
I started working on the album nearly a decade ago after becoming disillusioned with the music I thought I should make and trying to figure out what I actually wanted to make.
I finished Tactile on January 1, 2020, and then COVID hit. I held off on releasing it, launched Noir Labs around the software I had made for the album, and started creating the animated music video for Spirit Jumper, which became a much bigger project than I expected.
Shimmer Cell is the third and final single, and the final song I wrote for Tactile.
I can’t wait for you to hear it and the rest of the album.
